Introduction

Medical prose. Fragment (11 x 4 cm) of a papyrus codex broken on all sides and written on both recto and verso (transversa charta). The brevity and lacunosity of the surviving textual portion make the positive determination of its contents extremely difficult, but the terminology employed suggests the fragment should be part of a medical work. The papyrus is written in a neat and well spaced book-hand assignable tot the 6th cent. AD
