Introduction
Medical recipes. The papyrus fragment (11.5 x 9 cm) is the upper part of a leaf from a good quality codex. The lower and right margins are lost on both sides. The manuscript contains five recipes for decoctions separated by horizontal strokes (ll. 7, 13, 18), dicolon (l. 7) and filling marks (ll. 13, 18); the last one on side B (ll. 14ff.) resembles Orib., CMG VI 1.1, p. 152. The script is semi-literary, upright and rounded, with a tendency to leave spaces between words. Two additions (lines 1 and 19) are made by a second, more cursive hand in black ink. The papyrus can be dated to the 6th c. AD.
