Introduction

Medical prescriptions. The recto seems to preserve parts of three recipes; the first two remedies are potions against internal corrosive processes, probably inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract (recipe 1; ll. 1-3) and catarrh or haemorrhage (recipe 2; ll. 4-6). Only few unreadable traces of the third remedy survive (ll. 7 ff.). It is not possible to asses the exact number of letters lost at the beginning of each line. The verso is blank.

The digital edition is mostly based on the previous editions (ed.pr. = C. Préaux, O.Bodl. II 2183; ed.alt. = C. Préaux, CE 31, 1956, pp. 141-2).)
