Introduction
Medical prose. The papyrus consists of two fragments written on the recto and broken on all sides (verso is blank). Frag. a (8.7 x 2.9 cm) contains 13 lines; lower margin: ca. 2.3 cm; upper margin survives to a length of ca. 0.9 cm. Frag. b (3.3 x 2.7 cm) contains the final part of at least 6 lines of writing. The brevity and lacunosity of fragg. a-b make the positive determination of their contents extremely difficult, but they seem to be part of a medical treatise. The hand is very skilled, writing in a formal majuscule assignable to the 2nd cent. AD.
